Many folks look forward to Holiday weekends. Time to unwind with friends and family for an extended weekend , with the weather turning warmer, searching for colored eggs with the grandkids, maybe even some kind of culinary feast!
Most of all…Time spent not working. Well, Dayton, Ohio is a pretty industrious town, filled with people who have little to no time for that kind of sloth. Extended weekends are made for getting things done!
This weekend, we created a landmark, sure to draw some attention to our fair city. Since the plan to build a 3 mile wide Polycarbonate dome over the city fell through last week, I was tapped to come up with a “Plan B”.
I’ll admit to not working well under pressure, but I did manage to get something done. Since the work was done over a holiday weekend, I kinda had the town to myself, so no pesky traffic or city inspectors to get in the way! A totally streamlined operation went off without a hitch!
This new landmark will surely draw some real attention to the fine city of Dayton, Ohio
