Since July of 2020, Greg Seitz Woodworking has been creating, and donating a flag case to Police Departments across the United States that have suffered the loss of one or more Officers killed in the Line of Duty through the violent actions of another.
Since then, Greg made and shipped over 124 flag cases to Police Departments to house the Flag presented to the Officer’s family. Greg does this work for no charge to the department or the family. We expect that Greg will be making 50 pieces in 2022 for Fallen Officers.
Our Country looses many more officers than this annually. The number is too high for Greg to cover every incident, but he WILL make a case for all officers killed through gunfire or assault.
Each case made for an Officer is made from solid Red Oak, and will include a 1.5″x6″ Double Plated Gold or Silver Plaque personalized for the officer. The value of the case can be found on our product pages, but these cases are priceless to the families who receive them. FedEx Shipping Charges are dependent on the destination, but range from $35 to $65 within the lower 48…exponentially higher for cases going to Alaska or Hawaii.
While this is an undertaking that Greg has willingly taken on personally, it’s quite apparent that there are Great People who want to help! If you are one of them, we’ll try to make it easy and affordable…but there are some things you should know.
Greg Seitz Woodworking LLC is not a charitable foundation or 501C3. Greg takes on the work being done for fallen officers voluntarily, and costs are 100% covered with income from sales and out of pocket. Donations are not solicited, but appreciated! Your generosity will go primarily to offsetting the largest expense…Shipping. Unfortunately, you cannot deduct a contribution on your taxes, but I will provide Links here to charitable organizations that Support The Blue!
