A 12×24 Wood Shadow box is perfect for a display of Military Medals, and Scout Awards. Easily holds a 3×5 American Flag folded and framed into the corner. Wood Shadow boxes are a great way to show off a Varsity Letter or Senior Picture. 12×24 Shadow Boxes are perfect for High School or College graduation tassels and Photos. Plenty of room for room for medals, certificates, or memorabilia. An excellent gift for Service retirements where a 3×5 flag is given.
I strongly suggest ordering a 3″ deep box if you are going to insert a 3×5 or 4×6 flag. Order a 4″ deep box for 5×9 flags.

Subtract 1 1/2″ from the exterior size for the usable interior space. Subtract 1 1/8″ for the usable interior depth.

12×24 is a versatile size for a shadow box. The narrow profile is great for smaller spaces or displays. The 12×24 size will nicely display a 3×5 flag or a 4×6 flag Corner mounted or Center mounted. You can mix and match woods for your flag box frame to add a dash of color or contrast. (5×9 flags will not fit this size box)
Hardwoods
• A Special note regarding Cherry:
Cherry is a hardwood with a Light Red /Brown color and a Fine Grain Pattern. With exposure to light and oxygen, Cherry Hardwood will develop a Patina and darken dramatically over time. You will notice after as little as 30 days that the cherry wood has darkened. Cherry will eventually become a medium/dark reddish brown color on its own. I do not stain these beautiful woods to make a color. Take a look and contact me if you have questions!
