A: Sure! Just give us a call during our regular business hours.
Q: I like your work, but I do not see a box that is the size I need. Can I get one custom sized?
A: Yes, I can make boxes to almost any size. Let us know what you are looking for, and we can send you a quote!
Q: If I order my box today, when will it ship?
A: Lead times vary , but count on a bit of a wait for shipping.
This is the week of January 10, 2021. If you order this week, your case will be produced the Last week of June, 2021. Keep in mind that I am one person, making a box for you, not pulling one out of a shipping container! Demand is high!
There are certain times of the year when I can be overloaded with orders. This generally happens during the holiday season, or Patriotic Holidays like Memorial Day and Veterans Day. Expect longer lead times during the months of September through May.
The Home Page and Checkout Page is updated every week with a few words about Lead Times for orders placed that week.
Q: Can I pay extra to get my order done quicker?
A: Yes, I have a policy for folks that are willing to pay a premium to move to the front of the line. Simply stated, Line Cutters must purchase the box of the customer they are cutting in front of, plus the box they are purchasing. This fee will not exceed 100% of the purchase price of the order put On Hold. The customer that is put On Hold must agree to the arrangement. The customer On Hold will receive 100% of the fee paid by the Line Cutter in the form of an immediate refund to their order. The Line Cutting Fees and refunds for On Hold orders will not include shipping costs.
Q: Can I order an unfinished box, or one that is stained or painted?
A: Currently, the only alternative to a Clear Lacquer finish is a Black Lacquer finish. It is not available with out asking for it, so you’ll have to contact us for a quote. All pieces leave my shop with finish, glass windows and a fabric liner.
Q: I’d like my box made from rustic Barn Siding. Is that something you can offer?
A: No. Rustic wood, stained wood , “Live Edge” woods or materials where the results can be unpredictable are not something I’m going to dabble in…
Q: If I send all of my box contents, will you figure out what size box I need?
A: I’d prefer to know what I’m getting into before you send your items to me.
1 ) Lay your items on a table the way that you’d like to see them displayed.
2) Measure the space it takes up
3) Send us a picture with dimensions
You can send me a list of the items going into your box. We can create a scaled drawing of what we can do. Keep in mind that we do not know the size of every patch, hat pin or shoulder board, so photos, and/ or dimensions of items are helpful. Send your items only after we have a clear idea of what we are making for you.
