Imagine a day…it could be today, when time suddenly lurches into the future. So far into the future that we’ll have to relearn how everything works. For instance, yesterday, our office phone would ring, and I could walk over to the telephone closest to me, and answer the call. The technology was simple…You’d give me […]
Break-in (as if I don’t have enough to do)!
It started out like any other gloomy working winter Wednesday in Dayton, Ohio. I have a ritual of coming in the shop door, and finding the place to put my stuff…1) keys on the hook, 2) connect phone to stereo, 3) hang coat up…we all do that… But by step 2, it was already taking […]

We are Moving Forward!!
Well…I’m hoping the search is over…In a couple of weeks, this will be the new home of my shop. (this is a couple pictures that have been melded together, so the scale is a bit out of whack). Our new location will be at the Front Street Buildings in Dayton, Ohio. http://www.frontstreetbuildings.com/ There is a […]
New Affiliations!
Well I must say that I’m glad it’s over! The Holidays really are brutal. The number of orders that come to me multiply threefold in November and December…and it’s very difficult to keep a regular schedule intact. But we are coming back around to some bit of normalcy even though I’m still plowing through orders […]

My procrastination typically leads me to making panicked decisions about what purchase as a gift for my […]
The Thing About Cherry Hardwood…
Below is a recent post from the Shadowboxguru Facebook page (www.facebook.com/shadowboxguru). I don’t want to beat the subject of Cherry Hardwood into the ground, but the message bears repeating every so often as most visitors to this website are new and unique visitors. I do have statements regarding the hardwoods that I typically use smattered about this […]
